A man was shot by carjackers Monday night in East Garfield Park.
The man, 26, was in a Pontiac in the 200 block of South Central Park Boulevard when three people pulled up in a Cadillac and told him to get out of his car about 6:20 p.m., Chicago police said.
The man complied, but then one of the carjackers punched him in the face and another shot at him, according to police.
He was struck in the buttocks and brought to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said,
No one was in custody.
