A man was found shot to death early Sunday in Gresham on the South Side.

About 2:30 a.m., a relative found the 29-year-old lying unresponsive inside a home in the 7900 block of South Normal Avenue, Chicago police said.

He was shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. A weapon was recovered at the scene.

The gunshot wound may have been self-inflicted, according to police.

Area Two detectives are investigating.
