Man fatally shot in Bellwood

Marquette Bailey was shot multiple times in the 2300 block of St. Charles Road, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Two men were shot, one fatally, November 19, 2021 in West Englewood.

A man was shot to death July 22, 2021, in Bellwood.

A 44-year-old man was shot and killed Thursday night in suburban Bellwood.

About 11:05 p.m. officers found the man shot in a parking lot in the 2300 block of St. Charles Road, according to Bellwood police.

He was pronounced dead about 40 minutes later, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

He was identified as Marquette Bailey, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Bellwood police are investigating the incident.
