A 15-year-old boy was shot Thursday in Lawndale on the West Side.

He was shot in the upper back about 9:25 p.m. in the 4100 block of West Taylor Street, Chicago police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

No one was in custody.
