Police recover body 4 miles east of Lincoln Park in Lake Michigan

The body of a male was recovered from the water about 10:20 a.m. about four miles from the 1600 block of North Lake Shore Drive, according to preliminary information from Chicago police.

A body was pulled from the water miles from the shore in Lake Michigan Friday morning.

He was identified as Ray James Dimonte, 62, of the Douglas community area, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
