A 19-year-old man was killed in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in Roseland on the Far South Side.

Keon Binion was in an alley at 4:10 p.m. in the 600 block of East 106th Street when someone began shooting, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Binion, of Dolton, was struck in the chest and back and transported to Christ Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

No one was in custody as Area Two detectives investigate.
