Three people were critically hurt in a four-car crash in South Deering Friday morning.

Firefighters responded to a call of a pin-in crash about 5:50 a.m. in the 13000 block of South Stony Island Avenue, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

Three people were pulled from the cars and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, fire officials said. A fourth person was taken in good condition to Roseland Hospital.

No other details were immediately available.
