A man was killed in a shooting Tuesday afternoon in the Golden Gate neighborhood on the Far South Side.
About 1:20 p.m., Kevin Medrano, 28, was outside in the 13200 block of South Riverdale Avenue when someone shot him in the head, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
Area detectives are investigating.
