Two children were injured in a crash Monday in Calumet Heights on the South Side. 

About 4:15 p.m., a minivan driving in the 8700 block of South Constance Avenue attempted to make a left-hand turn on 87thand failed to yield to an oncoming dodge challenger which then struck the minivan, according to Chicago police.

Four people, including two children, were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police and Chicago fire officials said.
