Moon Alert

Caution! Avoid important decisions or shopping from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Chicago time. After that, the moon moves from Taurus into Gemini.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Be careful about financial matters, especially spending money. However, this also applies to any important decisions that you might negotiate with others. Your idealism is aroused, plus you are inclined to be extravagant. Meanwhile, most of this day is a moon alert.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

For most of today, the moon is in your sign dancing with fuzzy Neptune. This heightens your imagination as well as your sensitivity to others. You might feel generous to someone who is less fortunate. Nevertheless, be aware of what you’re doing, especially financially, during the moon alert.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

In many ways, you will feel more laid back. You might even want to hide or be low profile. One reason is that after months of being in your sign, Mars has left Gemini today. In addition, the moon today is “hiding” in your chart. Keep things simple.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Your interactions with a friend or even a group will be mutually sympathetic. You will want to help someone in need, or vice a versa, they might want to help you. Nevertheless, during the moon alert it’s a poor time to make important decisions or spend money.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Today you are high visibility. People notice you more; and they see you as sympathetic, approachable, caring and compassionate. These are wonderful qualities to role model for others. But don’t let this go to your head. Be real. Be yourself. (You can’t save the world before bedtime.)

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You are the sign of service; and today you want to help people, especially in foreign countries. However, during the Moon Alert, it’s a poor time to initiate new ideas and actions. Do your homework and then, when the moon alert is over at 8 p.m. Chicago time.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Be careful when making decisions about other people’s money or shared property or resources because most of this day is a moon alert, which is a poor time for important financial decisions. Be aware of this. Wait until the moon alert is over.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Discussions with partners and close friends will be warm and mutually sympathetic. They will get where you’re coming from and vice versa, you will understand them. Nevertheless, wait until today’s moon alert is over before you agree to anything important.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Recently, cooperation from coworkers has been rewarding. Today is no exception. However, it will be wise to postpone important decisions, especially financial ones until after today’s moon alert is over. (See above.)

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a fabulous day to socialize and enjoy creative activity in the entertainment world, show business, the arts or playful times with children. Even areas related to sports might reveal new ways of doing things. Explore but agree to nothing until the moon alert is over: 8 p.m. Chicago time.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You will probably feel sympathetic to a family member today, especially a parent. If you can do anything to help them, you will. If there are important family decisions to be made, do your homework but wait until the moon alert is over to act.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Today you will spend time daydreaming or being lost in a fantasy world, which is something you’re good at. (More than any other sign, you’re imaginative and you have amazing powers of visualization.) Enjoy this dreamy day. Check the moon alert.
