Moon Alert

There are no restrictions to shopping or important decisions. The moon is in Aries.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

If you find it hard to follow through on your plans and goals, cut yourself some slack. You really do want to make some improvements, especially to your appearance and your physical health. However, it’s hard to summon the energy and follow-through to do anything.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

When I was young and I put too much food on my plate, my dad used to say, “Your eyes are bigger than your stomach.” Today you might feel this way about many things. Privately, you’re gung-ho to make some sweeping changes — but who has the energy?

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

A friend or a charitable organization might inspire you to help someone in need. There’s a strong possibility that you will contribute money or share your own possessions because you feel genuine sympathy for those who have more problems than you. (Bravo!)

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Even though you are high visibility and people seem to know personal details about your private life; nevertheless, it will be tough to muster the energy necessary to impress others with your accomplishments. Relax. Just do what you can. This is a slo-mo day for everyone.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

You have strong opinions when discussing controversial subjects with others. You might want to persuade someone to see your way of thinking because you identify strongly with your own beliefs. This means you want to “reform” others. Don’t be too zealous.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You might want to make improvements to the way you deal with shared property or something that is jointly held. Your challenge will be to follow through on your ideas because it might be tough to persuade friends or groups to go along with you. Oh well.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You might attract someone to you who has feisty, intense ideas. This could be a close friend or a partner or even a member of the general public. Although you want to put your ideas into action as well, you just don’t have the energy — not today.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You might be keen to do something to improve your health. Likewise, you might want to introduce reforms at work or how you do your job. However, instead your mind might drift off into never-never land planning future escapes to someplace appealing.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Because you feel some genuine sympathy for someone who might be going through a hard time, you’ll be generous with your time and money, and possibly the resources of someone else. (Be careful not that you don’t give away the farm.) This could relate to finding ways to benefit children or the arts.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Today you have ideas about how to make some improvements at home, especially to areas related to garbage, recycling, laundry or bathrooms. Don’t count on help from others because their promises might not come through. You’re on your own.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Before you step up on that soapbox to perform someone to agree with your ideas today, ask yourself if you have the energy to follow through. Initially, you might be keen to rally your troops and set them marching. Very likely, your energy will fizzle out or you’ll be distracted. (“Guilty!”)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

You might lend your energy to creative enterprises, like sports events, fun activities with kids or, more likely, ways to benefit these same areas. If so, you will have novel ideas about how to raise money and beat the bushes for some support for any cause that you want to endorse. People will listen to you today.

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actress Nicola Walker (1970) shares your birthday. You are energetic, proud and independent. You drive yourself hard (sometimes too much so). This is the last year of a nine-year cycle, which means it’s time to let go of people, places and things that might be holding you back. Commune with nature this year.
