Girl, 15, wounded in Bronzeville drive-by shooting

A 15-year-old girl was wounded in a drive-by shooting Monday evening in the South Side Bronzeville neighborhood.

The girl was walking with two friends at 6:04 p.m. in the 3600 block of South Indiana when she heard gunfire and saw a black vehicle drive off, according to Chicago Police.

She suffered a gunshot wound to the right forearm and was taken to Mercy Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area Central detectives were investigating the shooting.
