Jammie Holmes, 16, was found lying with a bullet hole to the head in an alley in the 1700 block of West 85th Street. He died the next morning.
At 6:19 p.m., a lockdown was announced throughout the school and remains ongoing as of 8 p.m.
Twenty-one of them were transported in hospitals in good condition. The other five declined treatment on the scene.
The disease was potentially transmitted during wedding gatherings at the First Christian Church, 3601 S Staley Rd. in Champaign.
His lawsuit said officers concocted a story that he was selling drugs inside a hallway and had jettisoned a bag filled with drugs down a trash chute.
At 1:34 a.m., officers responded to an alert from the police department’s ShotSpotter gunfire sensors and found a male lying face down.
The first burglary happened about 7:40 p.m. Oct. 5 in the 6400 block of South Kenneth Ave.
The day’s sole shooting reported to Chicago police occurred during the afternoon in the Washington Park neighborhood and was a homicide, police said.
The robberies began at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday in Lake View and ended with two suspects escaping a police chase into Englewood, police said.
