“My heart is just torn into pieces,” the grandmother of Amere P. Deese, 14, said Monday after the teen was one of three victims shot in a Chatham home.
The teens were charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder, Chicago Police Supt. Larry Snelling said Wednesday morning.
Hours after two boys, 12 and 14, were shot Monday afternoon, police arrested the teen and an adult after finding a stolen car linked to the shootings nearby. Charges were pending against the adult.
