Bear Market: Rising and Falling vs. the Packers

GREEN BAY, Wis.–Rising

Fantasy starters against Bears defense—Anybody playing the Bears defense, shouldn’t be on your fantasy bench going forward. There wasn’t an offensive player on the Packers that didn’t have a big fantasy week Sunday.

Packers punting job—Green Bay punter Tim Masthay got paid, was active, but didn’t play in the first half. His first punt came with 13:22 left in the third quarter.

Stadium sauce—Lambeau Field makes a secret sauce to put on brats. It’s part spicy, part sweet and completely delicious.

Falling

Coverage of Jordy Nelson—The Packers’ receiver was wide open on touchdown catches of 73 and 40 yards in the second quarter. They were the first of four second-quarter touchdown passes the Bears allowed.

Special teams—In the third quarter the Packers blocked a punt by the Bears’ Pat O’Donnell. Fittingly, it was the first punt the Packers had blocked since they did it on Nov. 4 against the Bears last season.

Everything else—The “Bear Market” has crashed.
