The NFC North is filled with quality quarterbacks such as former MVP Aaron Rodgers, 5,000-yard passer Matt Stafford and 2014 Rookie of the Year Teddy Bridgewater. So where does the Bears quarterback stand among these NFC North quarterbacks?

End Zone Score staff writer Eric Belair believes Cutler is the third-best quarterback in the NFC North behind Rodgers and Stafford.

NFC North quarterback ranking:

1. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

2. Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions

3. Jay Cutler, Chicago Bears

4. Teddy Bridgewater, Minnesota Vikings

From Beliar:

The NFC North is full of gunslingers. Rodgers is the best quarterback in the NFL, but this is not enough to claim the No. 1 spot on this list. He gets a lot of help from his outstanding group of receivers, but Rodgers can make every throw that he needs to. Stafford throws the ball more per game than any other quarterback in the league. His arm strength is very strong and having Megatron (Calvin Johnson) on the other end catching his passes makes this a whole lot easier. Cutler’s arm is his biggest strength, yet also his biggest weakness. He has too much trust in his arm and causing Bears fans much frustration, but he is still a solid signal caller when he plays smart. Bridgewater is entering his second season and he has a lot to take form last year as Minnesota must be excited for the upcoming season. With the addition of Mike Wallace on the outside and the much anticipated return of Adrian Peterson will take pressure off of Bridgewater and allow him to increase his production.

Cutler is the the second-highest paid quarterback in the NFC North behind Rodgers, but the Chicago quarterback threw the most interceptions and the third-most passing yards behind Rodgers and Stafford. So he respectively belongs as the third-best quarterback in the NFC North.
