Brandon Marshall says Kyle Orton is best quarterback he ever played with

Brandon Marshall had what was probably the best year of his career in 2012 with the Chicago Bears and Jay Cutler as his quarterback.

In an impromptu AMA on Twitter Thursday night, Marshall was asked who the best quarterback he ever played with was.

His response? Not Jay Cutler.

In 2012, Marshall caught 118 passes, for 1,508 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Kyle Orton, the quarterback Marshall considers the best he ever played with, obviously received praise from Brandon for his play on the field, but Marshall was not complimentary of his physique.

It’s not the first time he’s taken shots at Orton’s body.

Cutler’s career record is 61-58 in the regular season compared to Orton’s record of 42-40 — including a record of 12-21 with the Broncos, where Orton played with Marshall.

In their careers, Cutler has thrown for 27,749 yards compared to Orton’s 18,037.

Cutler has plenty of faults, and hasn’t lived up to his potential with the Bears, but it’s hard to argue that Kyle Orton was a better quarterback in his time in the NFL than Jay Cutler has been.
