For the first time in more than a decade, Charles Tillman is getting ready for an NFL season without the Bears.

The Bears and Tillman split ways after last season, but the aging cornerback still has that special touch.

During the Carolina Panthers preseason game against New England, Tillman battled for the football, pulling it away and taking off down the field.

Unfortunately for Tillman and the Panthers, the news Friday night wasn’t all good. Tillman left the game with an apparent head injury.

Tillman was throwing up on the sideline after his injury. He was ruled out for the remainder of the game. There is no report yet on his status going forward.
