With free agency looming, some think Matt Forte might have played the last game in his brilliant eight-year career with the Bears on Sunday at Soldier Field. Only money, agents and time will tell.

When Forte gathered his things possibly for the last time at Halas Hall on Monday, he did leave behind one memento.

Since being drafted by the Bears in 2008, no other player in the league has more yards from scrimmage. He is 49th among the NFL’s all-time leaders for yards from scrimmage with 12,718.
