LONDON — The Bears have a new No. 2 quarterback, at least for one week.

The team promoted Tyler Bray from the practice squad Saturday, one day after coach Matt Nagy officially ruled starter Mitch Trubisky out for Sunday’s game against the Raiders because of a dislocated left shoulder.

The 27-year-old Bray has one career pass attempt. He’ll back up Chase Daniel, who will start — just as he did in two games last year.

To make room, the Bears cut tight end Bradley Sowell. Amazingly, he’s been cut either on game day or the day before each of the past three contests.
