MIAMI — Bears receiver Allen Robinson interacted with someone this week he’d always wanted to meet: Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who briefly came to South Florida.
“Just kind of reflecting a bit and talking ball was a great experience,” said Robinson, who attended NFL Honors as the Bears’ Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee.
The two compared notes about Bill O’Brien, Robinson’s Penn State coach who was once Brady’s coordinator.
Brady’s advice for Robinson?
“It’s a very up-and-down league,” Robinson said. “Just try to stay even-keel as possible. Through all the noise and all the madness, just try to stay even-keel.”
