Bears fans are keeping their fingers crossed that they’ll be able to buy single game tickets and that the games will be played.
The NFL will release its 2020 schedule at 6 p.m. Thursday night.
Bears single game tickets will go on sale to the general public two hours later at 8 p.m. A special presale window for season-ticket holders will open at 6:30 p.m. and last until 7:30 p.m.
Purchases will be limited to four tickets per game.
The Bears will offer full refunds if any game is canceled or if pandemic conditions prohibit fans from attending.
The NFL is hoping the coronavirus pandemic won’t prevent the league from playing its full 17-week schedule. The NBA, NHL and MLS seasons remain in limbo and Major League Baseball indefinitely postponed the start of its season.
NASCAR and UFC will resume competition this month, and some NBA and MLS teams are returning to practice.
