One year after being named the third-best player in the league by the NFL Network, Bears star Khalil Mack was downgraded to No. 19 for 2020.

Mack is coming off a disappointing second year with the Bears, one in which he totaled 8 ½ sacks over 16 games. The star outside linebacker had 12 ½ sacks, the most for any Bears player not named Richard Dent, in his first season with the team.

The NFL Network list is voted upon by anonymous players. The top 10, which doesn’t include a single edge rusher, will be named Wednesday.

Bears receiver Allen Robinson was ranked No. 93 earlier this week.

Bears veterans began their coronavirus testing this week. Following a strength and conditioning ramp-up period, the Bears are slated to begin practicing at Halas Hall on Aug. 17.

To get Mack, the Bears sent a package of picks, including two first-rounders, to the Raiders on the eve of the 2018 season.
