Marko Dano wants everyone to know that he’s okay after being slammed into the board’s by Julian Melchiori during Rockford’s loss to Manitoba last night.
The IceHogs forward tweeted out this video Thursday.
Dano, who was acquired in the deal that sent Brandon Saad to Columbus, has a goal and an assist in 13 games with the Blackhawks this season.
The hit didn’t come without consequence for Melchiori, who had to face the wrath of Rockford’s Mark McNeill.

Dano left the game with an “upper-body injury” and is considered day-to-day, according to WIFR’s Scott Grodsky.
The 21-year-old has four goals and 19 assists in 33 games for Rockford this season.
