1. New Orleans Pelicans: Zion Williamson
6-7 PF, Duke
Anthony who? The Pelicans smashed the 6 percent lottery odds and landed the No. 1 pick, which means maybe — just maybe — Anthony Davis has a reason to stay in the Big Easy. It will be an interesting season for the Pelicans.
2. Memphis Grizzlies: Ja Morant
6-3 PG, Murray State
The Grizzlies’ annual run to the playoffs didn’t materialize this season, so a rebuild was around the corner anyway. They will land one of the more athletic point guards to hit the NBA in a while. Morant has All-Star potential — and quickly.
3. New York Knicks: RJ Barrett
6-7 SF, Duke
He’s not Zion, but he’s another Dukie. Barrett was the preseason top player on most draft boards, so there is definitely some talent headed to Madison Square Garden. Team him with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, and who knows.
4. Los Angeles Lakers: Jarrett Culver
6-6 SG/SF, Texas Tech
As a freshman last season, Culver showed he could shoot from long range. As a sophomore this season, he showed versatility on both ends of the court. With no center worth a No. 4 this year, he is the best available player.
5. Cleveland Cavaliers: De’Andre Hunter
6-7 SF, Virginia
Elite wing defenders are hard to come by. Hunter might develop into that type of player, and he’s the perfect fit for a Cavs team that struggled on defense.
6. Phoenix Suns: Darius Garland
6-3 PG, Vanderbilt
The Suns have been searching for a point guard for years and now might land their guy in Garland. An injury-filled season limited him to a handful of games, but he’s a legit talent.
7. BULLS: Cam Reddish
6-8 SF, Duke
The Bulls need shooting and there isn’t another point guard worth it at No. 7, so there you go. Reddish had an up-and-down season, but the Bulls love their Duke players.

8. Atlanta Hawks: Jaxson Hayes
6-11 C, Texas
Defense, defense and more defense for the Hawks. A team with an up-and-coming, high-octane offense now can get a rim protector.
9. Washington Wizards: Sekou Doumbouya
6-9 PF/SF, Limoges
The Wizards are in salary-cap hell, so why not grab a player who has a lot of raw talent but no experience at the NBA level? Giannis 2.0? Likely not, but he’s worth a gamble.
10. Atlanta Hawks: Coby White
6-5 PG/SG, North Carolina
White can play either guard spot, is a great leader and would give the Hawks another athlete to run the floor. The Hawks could be a real fun team to watch in two years.
11. Minnesota Timberwolves: Brandon Clarke
6-8 PF, Gonzaga
Clarke was a standout during Gonzaga’s run to the Elite Eight and showed he could guard multiple positions. The Timberwolves are handcuffed with max deals for two players who don’t understand winning. Drafting Clarke may help.
12. Charlotte Hornets: Bol Bol
7-2 C, Oregon
Looking for a rim protector? This might be the guy. But Bol showed much more, especially for someone 7-2. He’s almost too unique to pass up.
13. Miami Heat: Romeo Langford
6-6 SG, Indiana
Langford is a top-10 talent who suffered a thumb injury early in his freshman season, and it definitely hurt his outside shooting. His ability to attack the basket and run the floor would be a perfect fit for a Heat team trying to redefine itself.
14. Boston Celtics: Tyler Herro
6-5 SG, Kentucky
Kyrie Irving holding the Celtics hostage is just about over. What they need is a guard who can space the floor for all the drive-and-kick players on their roster.
