The Bulls have gone really old school with the latest edition of their City Edition jerseys.

This year’s version of the alternate uniforms have an art deco style logo on the chest and the phrase “No Little Plans” stitched above the tag. The phrase is an homage to Chicago city planner Daniel Burnham’s quote “Make no little plans; they have no magic to stir men’s blood.”

Jon Shoemaker, the Bulls’ senior director of creative services, said in a video on the team’s website that the typeface on the uniforms was inspired by the directional signage at the United Center and the overall theme of the uniform was inspired by the art deco architecture throughout Chicago, including the arena itself.

The City Edition has become an annual tradition for NBA teams since Nike began producing the league’s uniforms in 2017. Fans can pre-oder the jersey and related items at the Bulls website.
