The current Bulls appear to have found a way to steal some coverage from the 1990s Bulls.

Executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas hired 76ers assistant general manager Marc Eversley to be the Bulls’ GM, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Eversley, who also has worked for the Wizards and Raptors, is the first African American GM in team history.

Eversley was a candidate for the Hornets’ GM job in 2018, but the team hired Mitch Kupchak. Before joining an NBA front office, Eversley worked for Nike for 10 years.
