Lombard-based Hanson Faso says acquiring the Elmhurst company will expand its retail perishable and premium food service businesses. Financial terms weren’t released.

“Both of our companies have a lifelong commitment to developing and managing the market for premium and natural foods,” Hanson Faso president Stewart Reich said in a news release.

The company will be headquartered in newly constructed space in Lombard that includes a test and demonstration kitchen.
