SHARE United to fly nonstop between Chicago and Rome

United Airlines will operate nonstop flights between Chicago and Rome this summer.

The summer-season flights will begin May 16 and last through Sept. 23. United will use Boeing 777s on the route between O’Hare Airport and Leonard da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport.

“These new flights to Rome are a great addition to our route network,” said Brian Znotins, United’s vice president of network. “The flights have been conveniently timed to connect at our O’Hare hub to destinations throughout the Americas.”

The Chicago-based airline previously announced summer service between Chicago and Dublin.
