Forbes has put together a list of 13 of the best craft beers in America – and a Goose Island brew has made the tap.

The limited release Bourbon County Stout clocks in at No. 8 – the only Midwest product to rate the taster’s favor.

Matt Canning, a beer concierge at the Hotel Vermont developed a tasting menu heavy on New England and Colorado and California. But the Goose Island stout stood out despite Canning’s self-proclaimed fondness for “Vermontales.”

The standard for all barrel aged stouts, Canning says. This beer has a cult following that includes this Beer Concierge. This pitch-black viscous brew is aged in bourbon barrels and released only once a year. Chocolate, caramel, and smoke on the nose—and rich oak from the barrels on the finish. Tread lightly—this beer is 14% ABV.

As if Bourbon County wasn’t hard enough to find and stockpile as it was.
