This morning, President Bush heads to the Rose Garden to make a statement on the Global War on Terror scheduled for 8:05 a.m. Chicago time.

Bush continues a coordinated White House blitz to bolster his case for the Iraq war. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice delivers a speech on the Iraq war before The Chicago Council on Foreign Relations, 12:15 p.m. Chicago time at Hilton Chicago.

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) is scheduled to react to Rice’s speech at 2 p.m.
