A story posted Wednesday afternoon on Early & Often misstated the current status of a proposed county ordinance. The ordinance, introduced to the Cook County Board on Wednesday, would ban lobbyists from discussing business with county commissioners while they are on the floor of the boardroom during public meetings. The ordinance was referred to the board’s Legislation Committee. It has not yet been approved.
