In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will honor the 2015 National Teacher of the Year and finalists, thanking them for their hard work and dedication each and every day in the classroom. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will also attend. This event in the Rose Garden is open press.

Afterward, the President will meet with Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi in the Private Dining Room for lunch. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will travel to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland to visit with wounded service members. This visit is closed press.
