A 15-year-old boy was wounded in an Englewood neighborhood shooting Friday night on the South Side.
About 8 p.m., he was walking in the 6800 block of South Sangamon when someone walked up and opened fire, striking him repeatedly in the leg, according to Chicago Police.
The boy was taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
