A 16-year-old boy was shot in a Park Manor neighborhood alley Thursday night on the South Side.

About 9:15 p.m., he was walking through the alley in the 7800 block of South Michigan when a gunman in a blue SUV opened fire, hitting the boy in the left arm, according to Chicago Police.

The boy was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Investigators think the shooting was gang-related.
