Two men were wounded in a shooting Friday morning in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.
The men, ages 19 and 23, were walking about 11:45 a.m. in the 1600 block of South St. Louis when they heard shots and realized they’d been hit, according to Chicago Police. The older man was shot in the right knee while the younger man was shot in the right leg.
They took themselves to Mount Sinai Hospital, where both of their conditions were stabilized, police said.
