2 wounded in West Lawn shooting

Two men were shot Saturday night in the West Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

At 10:27 p.m., the men, ages 19 and 22, were driving in a vehicle in the 4000 block of West 79th Street when someone in a silver sedan fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The younger man was shot in the abdomen and the older one suffered a graze wound to the head. Both were taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where their conditions were stabilized, police said.
