An Aurora man is accused of punching a man multiple times at a courtroom in west suburban St. Charles last week.

Rasheed L. Norman, 27, faces two felony counts of aggravated battery, the Kane County state’s attorney’s office said.

Norman allegedly struck the man unprovoked on the head and body Aug. 26 in courtroom 203 at the Kane County Judicial Center in St. Charles, the state’s attorney’s office said.

He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 10. If convicted, he could face two to five years in prison.
