Chicago police are warning South Side businesses about a series of burglaries reported in Woodlawn and South Shore.

In each incident, two men in their early 30s entered a building through the front or back door, then tried to break through walls to take property from adjacent businesses, Chicago police said.

The burglaries happened in the early morning hours between Oct. 9 and Oct. 11 in:

· The 6700 block of South Crandon Avenue;

· The 2000 block of East 71st Street; and

· The 6400 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue.

Anyone with information about these burglaries is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
