Garages burglarized in Little Village: police

Over the past month, three residential garages have been broken into within a few blocks of each other of each other, Chicago police said.

Police are warning Little Village residents of recent burglaries to garages in the Southwest Side neighborhood.

Over the past month, three residential garages have been broken into within a few blocks of each other of each other, Chicago police said.

The burglaries happened:

  • about 11 p.m. Sept. 24 in the 2500 block of South Trumbull Avenue;
  • overnight Sept. 24 in the 2400 block of South Ridgeway Avenue; and
  • about 10 p.m. Oct. 12 in the 2600 block of South Avers Avenue.

Police did not offer a description of the suspect or suspects.
