Police are warning residents about thieves who stole from vehicles last week in Goose Island.

In each case, someone broke the window of a vehicle and stole items from within, Chicago police said in a community alert.

All the reported cases happened in the evening hours of Oct. 11 in the 1400 block of North Elston Avenue, police said. Four thefts were reported between 6:50 p.m. and 9:09 p.m.

No suspect description was available, police said.
