Seven homes and garages were burglarized in Marquette Park in September.

Chicago police are warning Marquette Park residents about a series of burglaries that were reported in the Southwest Side neighborhood in September.

In each of the seven incidents, someone broke into a home or garage and stole property from inside, Chicago police said. The burglaries happened at all hours of the day between Sept. 4 and Sept. 27 in:

· The 2500 block of West Marquette Road;

· The 6700 block of South Artesian Avenue;

· The 6700 block of South Artesian Avenue;

· The 7000 block of South Washtenaw Avenue;

· The 7000 block of South California Avenue;

· The 6600 block of South Sacramento Avenue; and

· The 6800 block of South Talman Avenue.

Police did not provide a description of any suspects.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
