Two people were robbed at gunpoint last week in Lincoln Park and Lake View on the North Side.

In both incidents, a man in his 20s walked up to someone and threatened them with a handgun before taking their property, Chicago police said.

The first robbery happened about 11:55 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 500 block of West Arlington Place, police said. The second happened about 4:05 p.m. Oct. 23 in the 3500 block of North Halsted Street.

Anyone with information about these robberies is asked to call Area North detectives at 312-744-8263.
