Police are warning Northwest Side residents of a series of burglaries reported last month in Logan Square and Humboldt Park.

In each case, someone entered a garage and took a bicycle from inside, Chicago police said in a community alert.

A burglary was reported between 5 a.m. and 5:50 a.m. Sept. 9 in the 1700 block of North Sawyer Avenue, police said. Another happened between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. the same day in the 3400 block of West Shakespeare Avenue.

The third burglary occurred between 10:30 a.m. and noon Sept. 23 in the 3500 block of West Evergreen Avenue, police said.

Police said the suspect is described as a male but did not immediately provide further details.
