Man, teen hurt in Morgan Park shooting

A man and a teenage girl were shot in a drive-by attack Sunday in Morgan Park on the Far South Side.

The 17-year-old girl and 20-year-old man were sitting in a parked vehicle at 3:48 a.m. in the 11400 block of South Davol Street when someone shot at them from a passing dark-colored vehicle, according to Chicago police.

The girl was hit in both legs while the man suffered gunshot wounds to the leg and arm, police said. They were taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where their conditions were stabilized.

No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate.
