Police are warning Little Village residents about thieves who have broken car windows to steal property since Oct. 4, 2019.

Police are warning residents about a string of thefts from vehicles since last week in Little Village on the Southwest Side.

In each case, someone broke the window of a parked vehicle and took property from inside, Chicago police said.

The thefts occurred between the 4000 and 4200 blocks of West 26th Street, police said.

The thefts happened:

  • Between 11:30 p.m. Oct. 4 and 2:45 a.m. Oct. 5 in the 4100 Block of West 26th Street;
  • About 2:30 a.m. Oct. 5 in the 4200 Block of West 26th Street;
  • Between 12:50 a.m. and 3:55 a.m. Oct. 5 in the 4000 Block of West 26th Street; and
  • Between 2 a.m. and 4:45 a.m. Oct. 6 in the 4100 Block of West 26th Street

No suspect description was available.
