People were robbed by groups of males in Brighton Park in October and November, 2019.

Police are warning Brighton Park residents about several robberies reported in October and November.

In each case, a group of suspects approached someone and demanded property, Chicago police said in a community alert. In two cases food delivery employees were targeted.

The robberies happened:

  • At 9:27 p.m. Oct. 23 in the 2500 block of West 45th Place
  • At 7:38 p.m. Nov. 5 in the 4300 block of South Mozart Street
  • At 9:01 p.m. Nov. 7 in the 4200 block of South Francisco Avenue
  • At 9:34 p.m. Nov. 9 in the 4200 block of South Sacramento Avenue

In one case, the suspects were two males 18 to 19-years old, police said. Both were 5-foot-8 and 110 pounds. One had blonde hair and was last seen with a red hoodie and black clothing. The other was bald, wore a black hoodie and was armed with a handgun.

Suspects in another case were three males 15 to 18-years-old, police said. One of them was 5-foot-11. In a third case, five males standing 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 were described. They had a slim-to-medium build.
