Chicago police are warning Canaryville residents of a pair of burglaries reported in the South Side neighborhood.

In both incidents, a person broke into the home through a back door and took property from inside, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

These burglaries happened between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Nov. 15 to two homes in the 600 block of West 43rd Place, police said.
