Several apartments were burglarized in November in a small area of East Chatham on the South Side.

In each incident, someone entered the apartment through the front door or window, then took property from inside, Chicago police said.

The burglaries happened during the daytime and evening hours:

  • Nov. 5 in the 8200 block of South Ingleside Avenue;
  • Nov. 7 or Nov. 8 in the 7900 block of South Drexel Avenue;
  • Nov. 10 in the 7900 block of South Drexel Avenue;
  • Nov. 13 in the 7900 block of South Drexel Avenue;
  • Nov. 15 in the 900 block of East 80th Street;
  • Nov. 19 in the 8100 block of South Drexel Avenue;
  • Nov. 19 in the 8100 block of South Maryland Avenue; and
  • Nov. 22 in the 8100 block of South Drexel Avenue.

Police did not provide a description of any suspects.
