Police are warning residents after food delivery drivers were robbed at gunpoint this month in Gresham on the South Side.
In each case, the drivers were met by a group of males who displayed a gun and took food, cash and property, Chicago police said.
The robberies happened:
- at 10:45 p.m. Dec. 1 in the 1600 block of West 78th Street;
- at 11:45 p.m. Dec. 8 in the 1600 block of West 78th Street;
- At 10 p.m. Dec. 21 in the 7600 block of South Hermitage Avenue;
- at 7 p.m. Dec. 26 in the 7600 block of South Hermitage Avenue;
- at 11 p.m. Dec. 26 in the 7600 block of South Hermitage Avenue;
- at 8:45 p.m. Dec. 28 in the 2000 block of West 82nd St;
- at 9 p.m. Dec. 28 in the 1600 block of West 78th Street;
- at 12:15 a.m. Dec. 29 in the 1600 block of West 78th Street and
- at 11:45 p.m. Dec. 29 in the 1600 block of West 78th Street.
